E-LEARNING CHALLENGES IN PAKISTAN AT M.PHIL. LEVEL

This article explores prospects and challenges of E-learning in Pakistan at the M.Phil. level. Given emergence Covid-19 year 2020 brought integration E[1]learning/distant learning our education system; its practice is not an innovative idea, but critical application has raised several concerns for future academia. Albeit it new normal efforts are being made to make vital mode near future; nevertheless, own shortcomings. study identifies a few challenges: lack sources, expertise technology, English Language, power outage, no standard guidelines from HEC, uniform patterns followed by universities, deception on students’ part also significant contributor, etc. research thus divided into three segments: literature review; drawn probes era with pros cons; how still challenge normalize reference. Second qualitative analysis responses conducted students faculty Area Study Centre Africa, North South America, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Finally, recommendations gathered deduced results focused group discussions. The argues e-learning combining brief Higher Education Commission’s role creating effective strategies normalizing e-learning.
